Description
To record initial receipt of balances remaining in local bank accounts, where legislation now requires money to be deposited in treasury. Balances remaining at August 31, 1981 will be deposited using this revenue code. Monies formerly kept locally in accounts will now be deposited in the treasury using appropriate revenue codes. Money in CDs or time deposits at August 31, 1981 will remain local until maturity, at which time the principal will be brought into treasury with revenue code 3799 and interest using appropriate interest object.

Upon closing local account or upon maturity.
