A person granted community supervision under §§ 21.08, 21.11, 22.011, 22.021, 25.02, 43.25 or 43.26, Penal Code shall pay as a condition of community supervision a court required community supervision fee of $5 each month during supervision to the supervising community corrections and supervising department officer.

H.B. 2299, 84th Leg., R.S. recodified Code of Criminal Procedure Art. 42.12 to Art. 42A effective January 1, 2017.
Effective 01/01/2020, S.B. 346, 86th Leg., R.S. changed the fee to a fine. Therefore, collection was moved from revenue object 3727 to 3710.
