Residential service contract means any contract or agreement whereby, for a fee, a person undertakes, for a specified period of time, to maintain, repair or replace all or part of structural components, appliances or electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling or air-conditioning systems of residential property. No person shall perform services pursuant to residential service contracts unless they are a licensed service company or its authorized representative. Fees are required for filing a copy of original application for license or amendment, for filing each annual report, for the expense of any examinations and for every other filing required by law.
