The Department of Agriculture may set and charge the owner or operator of a weighing or measuring device the following fees:

• fees for registration and inspection of a device (13.1151)
• late fees for failure to register or renew a registration (13.1011)
• fees for tolerance and precision testing done by the Department's metrology laboratory (13.115)

The Department of Licensing and Regulation may charge fees for registration of motor fuel metering devices used for commercial transactions and penalty fees for late renewal of motor fuel metering devices up to $50 per device and $500 per year. (2310.103).

Violations related to the department's inspection for the presence of gas pump credit card skimmers are subject to a civil penalty up to $5,000 per day (collected under revenue object 3717).
