Description

Receives 59.854% of the $137 fee charged under Local Government Code sec. 133.151 for filing any civil, probate, guardianship, or mental health case in district court, statutory county court, statutory probate court, or county court.

Fee to be used for court-related purposes for support of the judiciary.

S.B. 41, 87th Leg., R.S. abolished those filing fees and added the $137 state civil fee listed in the description above. S.B. 41 repealed Government Code Ch. 101, and index of existing court costs and fees.
