Description

(1) The attorney general is entitled to a fee on each affirmance of judgment in a where the state is a party and the case involves liability to the state. The fee is 10% on amount collected if under $1,000, and 5% for all above that sum. For cases involving forfeiture of charters heard on appeal before the Supreme Court or Courts of Appeals, $500. (§402.006)

(2) The attorney general may charge a fee to review the policies and procedures on state agencies that obtain criminal history record information on state employees. (§411.1405)

(3) The attorney general may charge a nonrefundable administrative convenience fee for electronic submission of document. (§402.006)

(4) An invoice submitted to a state agency under a legal services contract must be reviewed by the attorney general to determine if eligible for payment. An attorney or law firm must pay a fee set by the attorney general for review. (§402.0212)

(5) A project entity shall pay a nonrefundable exam fee when submitting a proposed comprehensive development agreement for review. (§371.051)

(6) The attorney general may impose a $25 per day/per employee surcharge on an employer remitting child support that does not remit electronically. (§158.203)
