May provide open market purchasing services on fee-for-service basis for state agency purchases delegated to agency under §§ 2155.131, 2155.132, 2155.133, 2157.121 or as excepted in amount to recover cost of service.

May charge a fee for registration and renewal to be placed on a master bidders' list in amount to recover costs plus a $20 fee from each registrant used to enforce compliance and fraud prevention in the HUB program.

The Comptroller may recover costs from a state agency or vendor for the implementation of a purchasing system under Government Code sec. 2155.061. (2101.034)

Prior to 5/28/2021, the Comptroller had authority to charge travel service contract fees under Government Code, sec. 2171.055 for the following local entities. The fee was repealed by S.B. 1122, 87th Leg., R.S. however entities are still permitted to participate in the program.
