Description
The commission may charge fees to cover maintenance, operation and enforcement costs of the Finance Code. These fees charged to banks include annual fees for examination based on the bank's assets. May also charge bank charter application fees and fees for amendment of a bank's articles of association. Can charge investigative and filing fees associated with a bank merger. These fees are collected from trust companies for similar activities.
The commission may collect fees from foreign banks applying for a branch in Texas. May also collect examination fees and fees for applying to act as a fiduciary.
