Description
License, application, and renewal fees required of each public insurance adjuster as determined by the department. Fees charged for public insurance adjuster and non-resident public adjustor application, public insurance adjustor exam and public insurance adjustor trainee. Fees determined by the department.
License fees set by the department. For license expired 90 days or less, a renewal fee equal to 1 1/2 the normal renewal fee. For expired more than 90 days, must re-apply.

Due before acting as an insurance adjuster.

Note
S.B. 127, 78th Leg., R.S. added Insurance Code art. 21.07-5 establishing application and exam fees for public adjusters, resident public adjusters and trainees. Fees were directed to be deposited to GR Account 0036 – Texas Department of Insurance Operating, but S.B. 127 was not exempted in the funds consolidation bill, therefore the fees are deposited to the General Revenue Fund.
