A portion of these license fees are deposited to the Commercial License Buyback subaccount within GR Account 0009 (sec. 47.041):

  • Fish Dealer's Truck License
  • Wholesale Fish Dealer
  • Fish Dealer's Truck License
  • Bait Shrimp Dealer
  • Associated license transfer fees

The following are deposited to GR Account 0009:

The limit on the license fee increase was raised from 10% to 20% and extended to September 2013 per S.B. 1246, 81st Leg., R.S. The fee limit expired September 1, 2013.

Previously, a surcharge (15% up to $25) on all fish dealer, dealer truck, and bait shrimp licenses was deposited to GR Account 5023 - Shrimp License Buy Back. H.B. 1724, 85th Leg., R.S. abolished GR Account 5023 and transferred balances and revenue to the Commercial License Buyback subaccount in GR Account 0009 – Game, Fish, and Water Safety.
