H.B. 478, 67th Leg., R.S. moved administration of the Nimitz Museum from the Admiral Chester A. Nimitz Memorial Naval Museum Commission (Agency 816) to Parks and Wildlife Department (Agency 802). Revenue was deposited to GR Account 0064 - State Parks.
The museum was transferred to the Historical Commission and legal cite changed from Ch. 22 Texas Parks and Wildlife Code by H.B. 2025, 79th Leg., R.S. After transfer, revenue was deposited to GR Account 5139 - Historic Site. GR Account 5139 closed at agency's request effective 9-1-09 and revenue was deposited to General Revenue Fund 0001.
H.B. 1492, 85th Leg., R.S. changed revenue deposit to the National Museum of the Pacific War Museum Fund (1015) outside of the state treasury.
