Description
No provider shall offer to the public a contract for continuing care, or construct or acquire a facility for providing continuing care without obtaining a certificate of authority.
Fees for facilities in existence prior to Sept. 1, 1987 are $500 plus $2 per living unit. Fees for facilities after that is $10,000.
A facility filing a continuing care disclosure statement shall pay a filing fee of $500 and up to $2 for each living unit in the facility, excluding a unit devoted to that portion of the facility that is a licensed nursing home.
