Description
Commission and Texas Department of Criminal Justice shall adopt a memorandum of understanding to develop a basic training program in use of firearms by community supervision and corrections department officers and parole officers. Commission shall administer/issue certificate of firearms proficiency and may establish fee for administration.
The Commission may establish reasonable fees to administer the training program and issue a certificate of firearm proficiency to juvenile probation officers.
