Description
The department shall certify continuing education programs for agents and charge a nonrefundable certification fee. In addition, each program provider shall register as a course provider and pay an application registration fee in amounts necessary for administration.
Effective January 1, 2009, cigarette manufacturers must certify to the State Fire Marshal that each cigarette has been tested under approved performance standards and pay a fee of $250 for each cigarette tested. Recertification required every three years.
Commissioner by rule shall prescribe a reasonable fee for inspection performed by the State Fire Marshal. Charged to a property owner or resident requesting the inspection to cover costs and expenses.
