Description

Department may issue a temporary metal plate to provide for movement of any vehicle subject to license that is not authorized to travel on the public roads of this State for lack of proper registration. Fee provides temporary registration for transit, for 30-day periods or one trip only. Fee for a one-trip license plate is $5 and is valid for one trip only between points of origin and destination and in no case shall be valid for longer than 15 days from effective date of registration. A 30-day license plate may be issued for a single 30-day period or request an extension of the period the plate is valid for a fee of $25 for each plate.
