Added in 1989 by H.B. 137, 71st Leg. R.S. in TEX. TRANSP. CODE ANN. § 504.501 (formerly § 502.274).  Classic motor vehicles and travel trailers 25 or more years old, license plates for no additional fee.
Fee repealed by H.B. 2553, 81st Leg., R.S., eff. 9-1-09.
Added custom vehicles and street rods by H.B. 890, 82nd Leg., R.S., eff. 9-1-11.
