Added in 1991 by H.B. 220, 72nd Leg., R.S. TEX. TRANSP. CODE ANN. § 504.313 (formerly § 502.265).  Special plates including the words "Desert Storm" for no additional charge over registration fee required under Chapter 502 for persons who served in the United States armed forces after Aug. 1, 1990 and before April 12, 1991.

Fee repealed in 1999 by S.B. 997, 76th Leg., R.S.
