Specialty license plates with the letters "DV" as a prefix or suffix to any numeral on the plate and the words "Disabled Veteran" and "U.S. Armed Forces" at the bottom of the plate for veterans with disabilities. First set is a $3 fee.

S.B. 1512, 84th Leg., R.S. recreated the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Fund and it was exempted by H.B. 6, 84th Leg., R.S. Deposit changed from General Revenue to Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Fund (0010). Effective 9/1/16.
