Created in 2003 by H.B. 2971, 78th Leg. R.S. in TEX. TRANSP. CODE ANN. § 504.650. 
Keeping Texas Strong specialty license plates issued for an additional $30 fee.  $8 of fee for department's administrative cost and remainder to General Revenue Fund (Fund 0001) to be used by the Texas Education Agency to finance the education programs of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers.  Agency amended by H.B. 3097, 81st Leg. R.S.  Repealed by H.B. 2357, 82nd Leg., R.S. effective 1/1/12.
