Military specialty plates include those relating to branch of service, medals and citations, conflicts, and military academies. Certain plates for extraordinary service such as Medal of Honor, Navy Cross, Silver Star and others require neither plate fee or registration fee. License plates for branch of service or wars/conflicts require a registration fee but no plate fee.
