Created in 2003 by H.B. 2971, 78th Leg. R.S. in TEX. TRANSP. CODE ANN. § 504.653. 
Mother-Child Survivors Educational Scholarship Fund specialty plates issued for an additional $30 fee.  $8 of fee for department's administrative cost to State Highway Fund (Fund 0006) and remainder to General Revenue Fund (Fund 0001) to be used by the attorney general to support the Texans for Equal Justice mother-child survivors education scholarship fund.  Agency amended by H.B. 3097, 81st Leg. R.S.   Repealed by H.B. 2357, 82nd Leg., R.S. effective 1/1/12.
