Specialty plates for active and certain retired members of the Texas National Guard or Texas State Guard and members of a reserve component of the United States armed forces for no additional charge over registration fee required under Chapter 502. Added 1983 by S.B. 139, 68th Leg., R.S. TEX. TRANSP. CODE ANN. § 504.305 (formerly § 502.256).

Recodification by S.B. 971, 74th Leg., R.S. removed $2 replacement fee specific to these plates.
