These are souvenir plates not to be used on a motor vehicle. Fee for a single souvenir plate is $20. Fee for personalized souvenir plates issued before November 19, 2009 is $40. Fee for personalized souvenir plates issues on or after November 19, 2009 are established by the board.

Prior to H.B. 2202, 83rd Leg., R.S., the $20 or $10 (now deposited to Fund 0010) for a souvenir plate was deposited to Fund 0006 and the remainder to General Revenue. H.B. 2202 changed deposit from State Highway Fund (0006) to new Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Fund. New fund was not exempted in funds consolidation bill (H.B. 6) and not created. Therefore, these amounts were deposited to General Revenue (0001).
S.B. 1512, 84th Leg., R.S. recreated the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Fund and it was exempted by H.B. 6, 84th Leg., R.S. Deposit of the $10 or $20 changed from General Revenue to Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Fund (0010). Effective 9/1/16.
