Created Oct. 1, 1991 by H.B. 490, 72nd Leg., R.S. in TEX. TRANSP. CODE ANN. § 502.277 for issue of license plates bearing the words "Cotton Vehicle" for vehicles transporting cotton or cotton related equipment. The fee for initial issuance is $8 in addition to other annual registration fees and, if applicable, the optional county registration fee imposed by § 502.172. Repealed by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1320, § 10(a), eff. 9-1-03.
