Created in 1993 by H.B. 644, 73rd Leg., R.S. in TEX. TRANSP. CODE ANN. § 504.507. A fee of $8 for issuance of special "forestry vehicle" license plates in an amount necessary to recover administration shall be charged in addition to any other fee. A forestry vehicle is used exclusively for transporting forest products in their natural state, including logs, debarked logs, untreated ties, stave bolts, plywood bolts, pulpwood billets, wood chips, stumps, sawdust, moss, bark, wood shavings and property used in production of those products. Formerly § 502.280. Amended by H.B. 2971, 78th Leg., R.S. Deleted in 2009, see Revenue Code 3014, § 504.507.
