Registration fees paid by guardianship programs and application fees submitted by an individuals applying for certification to provide guardianship services for wards of the court. The Judicial Branch Certification Commission, administratively attached to the Office of Court Administration may set the fees.
The commission may charge a fee for criminal history records as approved by the Supreme Court.

Government Code § 111.042 directs fees be deposited to the Guardianship Certification Account. This account was not exempted in the funds consolidation bill, S.B. 1605, 79th Leg., R.S., and therefore not created.
S.B. 966, 83rd Leg., R.S. recodified Government Code Ch. 111 to Ch. 155. Also established the Judicial Branch Certification Commission to set fee.
