An individual corporation, trust, partnership, association or other legal entity engaging in the business of life settlement contracts shall pay a registration fee set by the Department of Insurance.
Annually, at the time of registration.

H.B. 2277, 82nd Leg., R.S. repealed Ch. 1111 and recodified under new Life Settlement Contracts Chapter 1111A. The bill also changed the fee from a not to exceed amount of $250 to one set by the department.
