The department of Agriculture sets and collects fees from perishable commodities, vegetable and citrus businesses.

• License and renewal fees charged for handlers of perishable commodities (including citrus and vegetables) as provided by department rules (101.006 and 101.008).
• Fees also charged for I.D. card for a buying or transporting agent to transport perishable commodities (101.010).
• A fee for applying for a marketing agreement or license to engage in intrastate marketing, processing, packing, shipping, handling or distribution of citrus fruits (102.162).
• Additional fee (103.011) paid by perishable commodities (including citrus and vegetables) licensees for deposit into Fund 0974 – Produce Recovery Trust Fund and payment of license holder claims.
