Description

Commercial fishing license fees are set by the commission. Current rates and further details may be found on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website.

General Licenses

  • Resident General Fisherman, Mussel and Clam Fisherman, Shell Buyer
  • Nonresident General Fisherman, Mussel and Clam Fisherman, Shell Buyer
  • Mussel Dredge Fee
  • Permit to Sell Non-Game Fish
  • Commercial Gulf Shrimp Unloading License 

Crab Licenses

  • Resident/Non-resident Crab Fisherman
  • Resident/Nonresident Crab Fisherman Transfer and Replacement Licenses

Finfish Licenses

  • Resident/Nonresident Finfish Fisherman
  • Resident/Nonresident Finfish Fisherman Transfer and Replacement Licenses

20% of finfish and crab licenses are set aside and deposited to the Commercial License Buyback Subaccount in GR Account 0009.
