Description

To record fees associated operating an establishment for manufacture of a frozen dessert, imitation frozen dessert, product sold in semblance of a frozen dessert, or a mix for one of those products. Establishment must be inspected before the license is issued.

The following fees are set by the executive commissioner by rule:

  • a nonrefundable fee accompanying each application for a license for each establishment .
  • a fee per 100 pounds of frozen dessert manufactured or processed and distributed in Texas.
  • a fee per 100 pounds of frozen dessert manufactured or processed in another state and imported for sale in Texas.
  • a fee for the actual cost of analyzing samples for a manufacturer not located in Texas.

Due Date

License fee due when application is submitted. Other fees due monthly.
