Description


To record fees charged for certification and regulation of respiratory care practitioners. The advisory board by rule shall set fees for an application, examination, certificate, temporary permit, permit and certificate renewal, and certificate reinstatement. Fees shall be in amounts to cover costs of administration.

Fees to renew expired licenses are between 1-1/2 to 2 times the normally required renewal fee.

Initial licenses fee was increased by $5 and renewal by $1, effective 9/1/2003 to fund the Office of Patient Protection within the Health Professions Council (364).

Related Administrative Penalties

Administrative penalties may be assessed up to $1,000 for each violation. Each day a violation continues is a separate violation. (collected under Revenue Object 3770).



Due Date


Biennially. Temporary permits valid 6-12 months as set by department rule.
