Description


To record fees charged by licensing authorities to a person subject to an order suspending a driver or recreational license for failure to reimburse the Health and Human Services Commission for an amount in excess of $250 granted in error to the person under:

  • the supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP) or
  • the program of financial assistance under TEX. HUM. RES. CODE ANN. Chapter 31 (TANF)

Licensing authorities are:

  • Department of Public Safety (driver licenses)
  • Parks and Wildlife Department (recreational licenses)

Fees are set by the licensing authority in an amount necessary to cover administrative costs.
