Description


A party who appeals a DWI determination may obtain a transcript of the administrative hearing by applying to the State Office of Administrative Hearings and paying a fee, not to exceed the cost of preparing the transcript (§ 524.044).

The office may serve as arbitrator between the Texas Department of Human Services and a convalescent or nursing home licensed under chapter 242. Total fees and expenses paid for an arbitrator for a day may not exceed $500 (§ 242.253).
