Description
Each certification as court reporter/shorthand reporter requires initial certification or registration fee set by Board. Certificate expires on January 1 following the second anniversary of date of issue. Renewal and exam fees set by the Board. The Board may reinstate certification or registration if expired 90 days or less for 1 1/2 times the normal renewal and penalty fees. Over 90 days, pays 2 times the normal renewal fees. A court reporting firm shall register with the Board and comply with the same rules applicable to a court reporter. The Board may enforce by assessing a reasonable fee against a court-reporting firm. The Board may assess administrative penalties in amounts as determined (collected under Revenue Object 3770).
