Description

The Commission shall establish a reasonable permit fee to cover the cost of issuing permits and administering the permitting system. Fees may also be used to protect water resources of the state. If the Commission performs the permitting factor for a local governmental entity, the permit fee shall be paid to the Commission. The Commission may assess a charge-back fee up to $500 to a local governmental entity for administrative costs relating to the permitting functions that are not covered by the permit fee collected, based on actual cost of permit issue. A maintenance company may be charged an administrative penalty for violations related to training and certifying individual owners $200 for first violation, $500 for subsequent (collected under Revenue Object 3770).

A person who constructs, installs, alters, extends, services, maintains or repairs an on-site disposal system must hold a license issued under ch. 37, Water Code.
