Description
A person may not conduct, operate or maintain a tattoo studio or body piercing studio without a license of operation. Persons employed must be registered and pay required fee before performing tattooing or body piercing at a studio. To receive a license or registration, a person must submit an application and fee. The executive commissioner by rule shall set license, registration and renewal fees in amounts necessary to administer the Chapter.
Civil penalties may be assessed up to $5,000 per day per violation (collected under Revenue Object 3717).
