Description

(1) A county or deputy sheriff or juvenile probation officer transporting state prisoner under a felony warrant may participate in Comptroller's contract for travel services to obtain reduced airline fares.

(2) May charge county fee NTE cost to provide services and may provide open market purchasing services on fee-for-service basis for state agency purchases delegated to agency under §§ 2155.131, 2155.132, 2155.133, 2157.121 or as excepted in amount to recover cost of service.

(3) A county officer or employee engaged in official county business may participate in contract for travel service to obtain reduced airline fares.

(4) The Comptroller shall administer a certification program for certifying state agency purchasers. A fee of $50 will be charged for recertification.

(5) May charge a fee for registration and renewal to be placed on a master bidders' list in amount to recover costs plus a $20 fee from each registrant used to enforce compliance and fraud prevention in the HUB program.

(6) An officer or employee of a public junior college or a school district who is engaged in official business may participate in the contract for travel services.

(7) Board member or employee of a communication district or emergency communication district under Ch. 772, Health and Safety Code engaged in official business may participate in the contract for travel services.

(8) An officer or employee of a transportation or transit authority under Subtitle K, Title 6, Transportation Code or of a hospital district if engaged in official business may participate in the contract for travel services.

(9) The Comptroller may recover costs from a state agency or vendor for the implementation of a purchasing system under Government Code sec. 2155.061. (2101.034)
