Revenue Object 3173 – Credit Service and Charitable Organizations Registration

(1) A credit services organization must register before conducting business in this state. The secretary of state may charge a fee up to $100 to cover cost of filing each certificate of registration or renewal application. Certificate valid for one year after its date of issuance.

(2) A law enforcement charitable organization shall file its initial registration before the 10th working day preceding the date on which the organization begins telephone solicitation in this state. Registration expires on the 15th day of the 5th month after the last day of organization's fiscal year. A filing fee up to $50 must accompany the initial registration. A $50 filing fee must accompany all renewal statements.
