To pay the charges associated with medication or drug testing, the association may use the money retained on tickets that are purchased as wagers on winning horses or greyhounds that are not cashed.
As established by the Texas Racing Commission rules, not later than the 90th day after the closing of a race meeting.
The code became effective for fees beginning 9-1-90.

H.B. 2271, 82nd Leg., R.S. removed outs as a source of revenue to the commission.
