Description
Administrative penalty of $25,000 for violation of a cease and desist order issued by the commissioner (83.104).
Penalties under Insurance Code, Chapter 84 may not exceed $25,000 (84.022).
Administrative penalty for violation of a law enforced by or through the state fire marshal. Schedule of penalty amounts adopted by the commissioner (Gov. Code 417.010).
The commissioner may establish monetary fines for failure to: obtain total number of continuing education hours before expiration date, timely report address changes, notify the department of an administrative action taken by financial or insurance regulator of another state or federal government (4005.109).
An insurer failing to timely file a corporate governance annual disclosure commits a violation and is subject to a penalty under Ch. 84 (831.0013).
