Created September 1, 2001 by S.B. 1839, 77th Leg., R.S. under Insurance Code sec.2203.359. A surcharge fee set by the commissioner in an amount sufficient to pay all debt service on bonds issued to provide professional liability for nursing homes. Previously deposited to 0861 - Insurance Surcharge for Nursing Home Liability Insurance Bonds Trust Fund (Inactivated). Recodified by H.B. 2017, 79th Leg., R.S. Bonds were never issued. This revenue code is no longer needed. Inactivated fiscal 2014.
