Created in September 1, 1999 by H.B. 2085, 76th Leg., R.S. under TEX. HEALTH & SAFETY CODE ANN. § 81.307. The department shall implement a registration program for existing needleless systems and sharps with engineered sharps injury protection and charge a fee to register a device in an amount established by the board.
