Description
To record interest receipts from earnings on delayed payments or other sources not otherwise identified as source of interest earned. This code includes interest on state funds deposited locally that earn interest prior to being remitted to state, not identifiable to another code. It also includes interest earned by the state due to late payments received after the due date. This code is used for the interest receipts that are not restricted to any programs. Can be used by agencies to record interest from repayment of loans made to the agency or similar payments.
