Purpose


To record the transfer of 0.25 percent of the amounts as provided by art. 179e, §§ 6.08(c) and 6.09(b) from each simulcast pari-mutuel pool to the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse for the prevention of problem gambling.


Notes


H.B. 1445, 75th Leg., R.S. eliminated the 0.25% transfer to the commission (art. 179e, sec. 6.091(a)). Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse abolished by H.B. 2292, 78th Leg., R.S.
