Description

Certificate of title for each vessel or outboard motor. Fee for certificate is set by commission and is good for period of ownership. The department may issue certificates of title on an accelerated basis with payment of an additional fee (31.047(e)). Includes fees for bonded certificates.

Upon selling, transferring or disposing of any interest in a vessel or outboard motor.

H.B. 3442, 78th Leg., R.S. added § 11.032(c) providing that, not later than 10th of each month, the department transfer 15% of amounts collected during previous month from vessel and outboard motor titling fees to GR Account 0064 - State Parks. H.B. 448, 85th Leg., R.S. amended the transfer to a "not to exceed" amount.
