To record payment of the state contribution to various Optional Retirement Program carriers approved by an agency or institution of higher education based on guidelines issued by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Expenditure code 7086 includes, but is NOT limited to:

  • Optional Retirement State Match

RESTRICTED: This code may be used only by Institutions of Higher Education and certain agencies as authorized in statute.
