Description


To record payment for the purchase of groceries, meats, bread, fruits, vegetables and staple food items to be used to provide means for wards of the State.

Expenditure code 7316 includes, but is NOT limited to:

  • Animals for Immediate Slaughter (food)
  • Baby Formula
  • Coffee -- Wards of the State
  • Condiments - Wards of the State
  • Food (wards)
  • Food for Persons Called to Active Military Duty
  • Food Purchased During Travel Status (Parolees)
  • Outings (food)
  • Powdered Food (wards of the state)
  • Student Activities (food)
  • Vinegar

This code does NOT include:

  • Food for research (7315)
  • Food for teaching (7315)
