To record expenditures made by state hospitals and agencies for Disproportionate Share (DSH), Upper Payment Limit (UPL), Uncompensated Care (UC), and Delivery System Reform Incentive Payments to State Hospitals (DSRIP) programs to the Health and Human Services Commission.

RESTRICTED: This code may be used only by participating state hospitals, state teaching hospitals and agencies with specific statutory authority. This program was transferred from the Department of Human Services to the Department of Health, effective September 1, 1993, by H.B. 7, 72nd Leg., 1st C.S. The Department of Health was abolished September 1, 2004 under the health and human services consolidation plan adopted as a result of H.B. 2292, 78th Leg., R.S. Uncompensated Care (UC) and Delivery System Reform Incentive Payments to State Hospitals (DSRIP) programs added per HHSC request. New programs approved in 1115 waiver by federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), December 2011.
