Description

To record for financial reporting purposes the withdrawal of all or part of the balance by the owner of a higher education savings trust account as authorized by rules adopted by the Texas Prepaid Higher Education Tuition Board. Used to report payment of qualified higher education expenses of the account beneficiary. Non-qualified withdrawals are subject to an IRS penalty. These are non-cash entries to post activity into USAS.

RESTRICTED: This code may be used only by the Texas Prepaid Higher Education Tuition Board, Agency 315.
