Description
To record the distribution for a donation or exchange of capital assets to a non-state entity. GASB 62 paragraphs 272-281 (disclose the nature of the non-monetary transactions) and Texas Government Code Sec. 2175.241, Sec. 2175.184 and Sec. 2175.905. For government funds, this code is used in basis conversion entry to record capital assets. For proprietary and fiduciary fund type, this code is used to reduce capital assets in fund financial statements.
Note
The code is reported as 'Capital Contributions' for proprietary funds and "General Revenues - Capital Contributions/(Distributions)' under the General Revenues Section of the government-wide statement of activities.
